Product description
The intravenous catheters with injection port and FEP catheter have been specially developed to enable low-pain and vein-sparing placement. The catheter material is made of FEP, which makes it particularly comfortable to use. Thanks to the integrated injection port, medication can be administered quickly and easily without the need for a repeat puncture.
The atraumatic cannula tip with 3-facet bevel geometry ensures excellent puncture properties. This ensures gentle placement. The intravenous catheters are also equipped with four fully embedded X-ray contrast strips, which enable precise positioning.
Other features of these catheters include the hydrophobic blood catcher stopper, which ensures an effective tourniquet, as well as the removable lock closure cone and the lock attachment. These enable secure fixation of the catheter. In addition, the intravenous catheters are colour-coded to enable easy size differentiation.
The intravenous catheters with injection port and FEP catheter are both latex and PVC-free. They comply with ISO standard 10.555-1/5 and therefore fulfil all relevant quality and safety requirements.
