AEROvent® respiratory filter with HME in detail
The electrostatic AEROvent® bacteria and virus filter has a heat and moisture exchanger (HME - Heat and Moisture Exchanger) for filtering, heating and humidifying the breathing air. The integrated Luer lock port enables CO2 measurement. The housing is translucent and therefore ensures good humidity control. The filter is optionally available for adults or neonates (3 - 8 kg).For adults: Humidification capacity: 31 mg H2O/l at VT 500 ml, resistance: 1.1 mbar at 30 l/min, ISO connections: 22M / 15F - 22F / 15M, dead space vol.55 ml, weight: 27 g
