Erler Zimmer stages of intervertebral disc damage in detail
This model shows different stages of intervertebral disc damage. Mild disc damage, disc herniation with bone deformation and severe disc damage with severe bone deformation are shown. The model consists of 4 pairs of lumbar vertebrae and shows both the healthy state and the three pathologies. The vertebral pairs are magnetically attached to a perspex base and can be easily removed. The pairs of vertebrae are also flexibly connected so that movements can also be shown. The model measures 38 x 10 x 10 cm and weighs 0.9 kg.
