Paracetamol-ratiopharm® 1000 mg suppositories offer an effective and reliable solution for the treatment of mild to moderate pain and for reducing fever. The active ingredient paracetamol has an analgesic and antipyretic effect and is particularly suitable for adolescents from the age of 12 and adults weighing at least 43 kg.
Mode of action:
The rectal administration of the suppository ensures rapid absorption of the active ingredient, providing rapid relief from pain and fever.Application:
The preparation is easy to use: One suppository corresponds to a dosage of 1000 mg paracetamol. If necessary, it can be used up to 4 times a day, with an interval of at least 6 hours between each application.Instructions for use:
The suppositories should be inserted deep into the anus, ideally after a bowel movement. For better lubrication, the suppository can be briefly immersed in warm water or warmed in the hand beforehand.Important information:
- Duration of use: Do not use for longer than 3 days without medical advice.
- Side effects: Possible side effects include mild liver enzyme elevations and less common blood count changes or allergic reactions.
- Interactions: Caution with concomitant use with other medications, avoid alcohol.
