The medicine must be kept at room temperature after opening/preparation!

If you notice any discomfort or change during treatment, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

The information provided here is based primarily on side effects that occur in at least one in 1,000 treated patients.
- Reactivity may be impaired even when used as directed, especially at higher doses or in combination with alcohol. Pay particular attention if you are driving or operating machinery (including household machinery) with which you could injure yourself.
- Take care if you are allergic to the sweetener saccharin (E number E 954)!
- There may be medicines with which interactions occur. You should therefore generally inform your doctor or pharmacist of any other medicine you are already taking before starting treatment with a new medicine. This also applies to medicines that you buy yourself, use only occasionally or have been using for some time.
How does the active ingredient in the medicine work?

The active ingredient quells the urge to cough by paralysing the cough centre in the brain. It also occupies certain binding sites in our respiratory organs, preventing them from transmitting stimuli and forcing us to cough constantly. To a small extent, the active ingredient anaesthetises the nerve cells in the bronchial tubes and widens the airways. In addition, the substance relaxes the muscles in the lungs.

Application

- Irritable cough
