Advantage offers effective protection against fleas and hair lice in dogs from 4 to 10 kg. The product kills fleas on the dog within 24 hours of application and protects against re-infestation for up to 4 weeks. It can also be used to treat allergic skin inflammation caused by flea bites.
Dosage form
Solution to be dripped onto the skin (spot-on).
Indications
- Prevention and treatment of flea infestations.
- Treatment of hair lice infestations (Trichodectes canis).
- Also suitable as part of a treatment plan for flea allergy dermatitis (FAD).
Target species
Dogs from 4 to 10 kg body weight.
Composition
- Active ingredients: 100 mg imidacloprid, 1 mg butylhydroxytoluene (E321) per 1 ml solution.
- Other ingredients: Benzyl alcohol.
Important information
- Fleas are killed within 24 hours of application.
- A single treatment provides protection against flea infestation for up to 4 weeks.
- Do not use on puppies under 8 weeks of age.
- Only suitable for dogs, do not use on rabbits intended for human consumption.
