Chicco infrared ear thermometer in detail
Measurement in the ear: Measuring the temperature in the ear requires some practice and caution. To place the sensor correctly in the ear canal, you need to stretch your pinna slightly. Please note that an inflammation of the middle ear or earwax can influence the measurement results. Normally, the measured temperature values in the ear are on average 0.5°C higher than the body temperature measured in the armpit.
Please take the time to read the labels and warnings on the product packaging carefully before use.
