Rescuing overweight patients poses a particular challenge. The PAX XXL sling has been specially developed for this purpose and offers numerous practical functions. It has extra-wide loops for both hands, sufficient carrying loops for a large number of rescuers and additional rows of handles for patients who are not quite as voluminous. It also has a patient safety device in the form of a Y-belt. The sling can be used with a load of up to 400 kg.
