The Panbio Covid-19 Antigen Rapid Test for the anterior nasal area is particularly patient-friendly as it minimises gag reflexes, coughing or sneezing. The test result appears within 15 minutes. The test has a shelf life of 9-12 months. Compared to nasal PCR, the sensitivity is 98.1 % and the specificity 99.8 %. Compared to nasopharyngeal PCR, the sensitivity is 91.1 % and the specificity 99.7 %. Use is only authorised by healthcare professionals.
