Advantage is a solution for the treatment of flea infestations on dogs, cats and ornamental rabbits. It contains the active ingredient imidacloprid and ensures that fleas are killed within 24 hours of application. A single treatment is effective against fleas for 3 to 4 weeks, depending on the animal species.
Active ingredient
- Imidacloprid - 100 mg per ml solution
- Butylhydroxytoluene - 1 mg per ml solution (E321)

Fields of application
- Prevention and treatment of flea infestations
- Treatment of hair lice infestation (Trichodectes canis) in dogs
- Treatment of flea allergy dermatitis (FAD), if diagnosed by a vet
How to use
Advantage is applied directly to the animal's skin. Fleas are killed within 24 hours of application.
- For dogs: A single treatment is effective against fleas for 4 weeks.
- For cats: Single treatment is effective against fleas for 3 to 4 weeks.
- For ornamental rabbits: Single treatment is effective against fleas for up to one week.
Warnings
- Do not use on suckling puppies under 8 weeks old.
- Do not use on rabbits intended for human consumption.
- Do not use on ornamental rabbits under 10 weeks old.
- Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the other ingredients.
