Berk incense in the annual cycle in detail
The Celts had eight major festivals, four of which were dedicated to the sun and four to the moon. The sun festivals marked the equinoxes and the shortest and longest days of the year. The moon festivals always took place in the middle of the sun festivals. These festivals were full of joie de vivre and intensity, but also characterised by a deep respect for the changing conditions of nature.
It is important for our soul and our connection to nature and the cosmos that we can tune into the natural cycles and treat them with respect. In the modern world with its electric light and centralised heating, as well as the hectic pace of everyday life, there is a danger that we no longer feel the rhythm of nature, the power of the sun and moon and the magic of solar and lunar cycles. Everything runs smoothly, without ups and downs, without the wonderful magic that surrounds us.
This paperback has 36 pages and is 21 cm long and 21 cm wide. It is an invitation to reconnect with the natural cycles and experience the magic of the sun and the moon.
