Food supplements are no substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
The German Nutrition Society classifies chromium as an essential trace element. The body cannot produce these micronutrients itself and they must be taken in regularly through food. Chromium is found particularly in wholemeal products, calf's liver, peanuts and pepper.
Exercise and excessive consumption of sweets can lead to a loss of chromium.
In general, a daily intake of 50-200 micrograms of trivalent chromium is recommended. This intake is necessary for carbohydrate metabolism and insulin balance, among other things.
Our Chromium GTF contains this recommended amount of trivalent chromium. You can easily supplement your daily requirement of 50 micrograms with just one Chromium GTF tablet.
