How should it be used?
Take the medicine.

Duration of use?
The duration of use depends on the type of complaint and/or duration of the illness and is therefore only determined by your doctor.

Overdosage?
An overdose can lead to an increase in blood pressure, sweating, nausea and vomiting. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor immediately.

Forgotten to take it?
Continue taking the medicine as normal (i.e. not double the amount) at the next prescribed time.

As a general rule: Pay particular attention to conscientious dosing for infants, small children and older people. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist about any effects or precautionary measures.

A dosage prescribed by a doctor may differ from the information in the package leaflet. Since the doctor will adjust it individually, you should therefore use the medicine according to his instructions.

Storage before opening
The medicine must be stored protected from frost.
Storage after opening or preparation
The medicinal product may be used for a maximum of 6 months after opening/preparation!
The medicinal product must be stored at room temperature after opening/preparation.

Always:
- Hypersensitivity to the ingredients
- High blood pressure
- Heart diseases, such as
- Coronary heart disease (circulatory disorders of the heart muscle)
- Narrowing of a heart valve
- Heart muscle disease with severe thickening and narrowing of the heart chamber (hypertrophic cardiomyopathy)
- Arteriosclerosis (hardening of the arteries)
- Urinary disorders, such as
- Enlargement of the prostate with residual urine formation
- hyperthyroidism
- Pheochromocytoma (adrenaline-producing tumor)
- Narrow-angle glaucoma

Under certain circumstances - talk to your doctor or pharmacist:
- Cor pulmonale (weakness of the right heart due to lung disease)
- Cardiac arrhythmia
- Impaired kidney function
- Disorders of the salt balance, such as
- Elevated calcium levels
- Potassium deficiency
- Diabetes mellitus (diabetes)

What about pregnancy and breastfeeding?
- Pregnancy: Consult your doctor. Various considerations play a role in whether and how the medicine can be used during pregnancy.
- Breastfeeding: According to current knowledge, use is not recommended. Breastfeeding may need to be considered.

- Sulphites (E 220 - E 228) can cause hypersensitivity reactions (e.g. vomiting, diarrhea) and cramping of the respiratory tract.

How does the ingredient of the medicine work?

The active ingredient interacts with special binding sites (so-called receptors) and thus influences the blood vessels and the heart. It has a constricting effect on blood vessels and increases the heartbeat, which stimulates the circulation and increases blood pressure.
