The new simulator gives you the opportunity to learn and improve your skills in dealing with the human ear. You will learn to pay attention to special features, correctly diagnose common diseases, clean the ear canal, remove foreign bodies and perform an eardrum incision to insert a tube. The simulator is anatomically correct and has right and left ears to practise diagnosis and methodology. The ears can be easily removed for cleaning and storage. To make practising even more realistic, the middle ear can be filled with different fluids. The teacher can determine the colour and consistency of the liquid. Nine diagnostic inserts with high-resolution colour prints show various diseases, including middle ear infections, eardrum perforations and tympanic cavity sclerosis. The model is supplied with two ears, approximately 100 prefabricated eardrums, special earwax, three standard middle ear inserts with syringe, adjustable stand and a carrying case. Please note that the otoscope, tubes and instruments are not included in the scope of delivery. The weight of the simulator is 5 kg.
