Erler Zimmer gallstone model in detail
The gallstone model is a vivid half life-size model that shows you the anatomy of the biliary system and its surroundings. It also shows tissue changes on the gallbladder wall caused by chronic inflammation, as well as acute inflammation known as cholecystitis. In addition, gallstones are shown in typical locations in the model, including the spiral valve, the fundus of the gallbladder, the choledochal duct and the papillary opening to the small intestine. The model is supplied on a base to ensure a stable presentation.
