Based on our unique LSAT trainer, we now offer you this paediatric auscultation trainer. With this trainer you can perform advanced lung auscultation training for children. You can easily control the physical condition of the patient via a touchscreen tablet computer.
The simulator contains 20 different patient cases where you have access to relevant information such as X-ray, CT and bronchoscopy images. The trainer's body has a total of 11 auscultation sites, both front and back, which you can listen to with a normal stethoscope. This allows several students to practise on one simulator at the same time. All sounds are classified according to the standards of the American Thoracic Society.
An integrated LED light shows you the inspiratory and expiratory phases in synchronisation with the sounds (you can also switch this function off). Background heart sounds are also available and you can adjust the volume as required.
The entire system comes pre-configured and has a practical castor base. You can remove the castors and use the device on the table if desired. When the system is initialised, an error check is automatically performed to ensure that everything is working properly.
