Fungizid-ratiopharm pump spray in detail
Fungizid-ratiopharm® pump spray is an effective treatment for fungal skin diseases. It contains the proven active ingredient clotrimazole, which was specially developed to combat fungi such as dermatophytes, yeasts (e.g. Candida species), moulds and others. This pump spray helps to relieve fungal infections quickly and reliably by inhibiting the growth of fungi and promoting the healing of infected areas of skin.
Active ingredient:
Clotrimazole
Indications: Fungal diseases of the skin caused by dermatophytes, yeasts (e.g. Candida species), moulds and others. Do not use on mucous membranes and in the genital area.
Excipients:
- Benzyl alcohol
- Isopropanol
- Purified water
- Sodium citrate
- octyldodecanol
- Propylene glycol
- Macrogol 400
Properties:
- Effective against fungal infections of the skin, including athlete's foot, skin fold infections and pityriasis versicolor.
- Works by inhibiting fungal growth and promotes healing of infected areas of skin.
Application:
- Spray a thin layer onto the affected areas twice a day.
- Spray at a distance of 10 - 30 cm.
- Duration of treatment: At least 4 weeks, continue even if there is a subjective improvement in order to avoid relapses.
Special instructions:
- Not suitable for mucous membranes and genital areas.
- Contains benzyl alcohol, may cause local irritation.
- When treating athlete's foot, dry feet thoroughly, especially between the toes.
Side effects:
- Frequent: Skin reactions such as temporary redness, burning, stinging.
- Rarely: Allergic reactions on the skin.
Interactions:
- Clotrimazole may reduce the effectiveness of amphotericin and other polyene antibiotics (nystatin, natamycin).
- Use deodorants and cosmetics only after consulting a doctor.
Contraindications:
- Do not use if allergic to clotrimazole or any of the other ingredients.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding:
- Breastfeeding mothers must not apply the medicine to the breast area.
Warnings and precautions:
- For external use on the skin only.
- Avoid contact with the eyes.
