The information provided here is based primarily on side effects that occur in at least one in 1,000 patients treated.
- The ability to react may be impaired even when used as directed, especially at higher doses or in combination with alcohol. Pay particular attention if you are driving or operating machinery (including household machinery) that could injure you.
- The medicine contains a preservative that can accumulate in soft contact lenses. For further information, please refer to the current instructions for use.
- In very rare cases, patients with severe corneal damage developed corneal opacities due to calcium deposits during treatment with eye drops containing phosphate.
- Preservatives (e.g. benzalkonium chloride) can cause swelling of the nasal mucosa with prolonged use. If such a reaction is suspected (persistent nasal congestion), a medicine for use in the nose without preservatives should be used.
How does the ingredient of the medicine work?

If allergenic substances, e.g. pollen, come into contact with the eyes or nose, the body's own messenger substance histamine is released on the mucous membranes of the eyes and nose and they become inflamed. The active ingredient prevents this allergic reaction by keeping histamine away from the mucous membranes. In this way, the active ingredient quickly combats the unpleasant allergic symptoms in the eyes and nose such as itching, redness, swelling or sneezing.

Application

- Allergic rhinitis with the simultaneous occurrence of conjunctivitis, e.g. house dust allergy, hay fever
