Oralpädon 240 Neutral in detail
Oralpädon® 240 NEUTRAL is an electrolyte powder that provides the body with an optimum mixture of salts, minerals and glucose in the event of diarrhoea. It quickly improves the general condition and is suitable for babies, children and adults.
Active ingredients:
- 3560 mg glucose-1-water
- 470 mg sodium chloride
- 300 mg potassium chloride
- 530 mg sodium monohydrogen citrate-1,5-water
Excipients:
- Highly dispersed silicon dioxide
Indication:
- For oral electrolyte and fluid intake in diarrhoeal diseases
- Compensates for water and electrolyte losses
Application:
- Precisely observe the amount of liquid required to dissolve one sachet.
- Prepare the solution immediately before ingestion.
- Do not use unused solution after 1 hour at room temperature.
- Can be stored in the refrigerator for a maximum of 24 hours.
- Do not boil the finished solution.
- Drink in small sips in case of nausea or vomiting.
Dosage:
- Infants and young children: 3 to 5 sachets in 24 hours.
- Children: 1 sachet after each bowel movement.
- Adults: 1 to 2 sachets after each bowel movement.
Duration of use:
- Until the diarrhoea has subsided, up to a maximum of 36 hours.
- Infants and young children: 6-12 hours, maximum 24 hours (as directed by the doctor).
Important notes:
- Consult a doctor before taking during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- Diabetics should only use Oralpädon® after consulting a doctor.
- Do not store above +25°C.
